SUV & Truck sales are falling!
Maybe it will be a little more safe on the roads for small cars & motorcycles, well maybe not. Less dangerous accidents?
btw: hybrids are not the solution. Just wait until you have to replace the batteries!

True, they aren't a solution from a cost stand point unless you are looking at trading in every 3 to 5 years. From a carbon footprint standpoint and lessening the use of petroleum they might be? I formed that as a question because I seem to remember a story that talked about the emissions involved in producing and transporting the batteries for installation and how that process more than offset whatever emissions you were no longer contributing by using the electric drive. Comments? Anybody else heard this?
