OMFG, I officially have a teenager...
I think it's time everyone around him starts guiding him towards adulthood. Stop treating him like a child! Speak to him like an equal HUMAN! Expect a mirrored response; treat one with respect & you should receive that in return.
Hell, that can apply to many people I know... try it out!
